Utterly Eco provides sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives to the things we buy every day. By this we mean selling products that have been made in such a way that they can continue to be made indefinitely without compromising the lives and opportunities of future generations.
Our focus is more about protecting, conserving and re-establishing the world’s natural riches and eco-systems, rather than making an attempt to directly tackle climate change. We firmly believe that by safeguarding the natural world and its resources against over-exploitation and mismanagement, many of the causes of climate change will be halted in the process.
Utterly Eco fully supports the concept of fair trade and proudly sells a number of products made by artisans across the world who have been paid a fair and consistent wage for their work. Customers of this site can buy these stunningly crafted objects safe in the knowledge that the people who made them have not been exploited.
Whilst the majority of our business is done online selling directly to individual consumers, we also offer a corporate gift service for companies looking to buy in larger quantities. Many of our products are also on sale at the environmentally-minded King John’s Nursery and Garden close to our offices in the South-East of England.
Utterly Eco is the trading arm of Footprint Environmental Solutions Ltd. The company’s director and founder is the East of England’s former Environmental Journalist of the Year, Hugh Bowring.
